Went on a 3 day ski in Klosters with the wife and kids and Madrisa sounded like the perfect spot for the 2 year old to play around in the snow and at the same time the rest of us could do some pists. Everything wa fine until we tried to get into the cable car to go up... My God the cable cars takes only 4 people at the same time and there were hundreds of people trying to get up, yes hundreds, check the picture. More than 1 hour to get up with kids is not easy. Once we arrived all good until I went to do some skiing, there is only one chair lift going to the pists another huge queue, at best the same as the first one. For a review of the restaurant: you can be confident that it is as good as it gets for a ski restaurant. It’s modern, clean. The little details like the spaces to stow your helmet and gloves when you eat really speak in the favor of the designer / architect.
For a review of the resort, suffices to say that it’s one of the smaller resorts of Davos Klosters and while it will be suitable for beginner to intermediate skiers, good skiers will hit the Parsenn side instead. Read moreThere are some places that you will never forget, this is one of them. We were greeted by Gorges and Bativika, the friendly owners. They took us on a guided tour, making every effort to please us. I particularly enjoyed the tour of the newly built toilets. They are beyond amazing!! The tour was tainted somewhat by the gentleman in cubicle number six. Let's just say he had a mighty active bowel. We honestly thought that he had a box of fireworks in there.
