The restaurant on arrival appeared clean and very quite with only 3 tables in use. We ordered our food at 7pm, all three of us opting to go straight for a main course, 2 entrecote steaks (1 bleu and 1 rare) and a herb crusted lamb, we also ordered some drinks which took a good 15 minutes to arrive. After 45 minutes of being harrassed by flies in the indoor restaurant and still no food, we asked for some bread to stave off the hunger. A full 15 minutes later our meals arrived with some bread? Both steaks were cooked the same, ok fair enough we could live with that but my daughters lamb had less of a crust more of a mulch containing and overpowering amount of basil. When trying to explain to the staff an hour was far to long to wait for a meal especially in a restaurant with so few people dining, she didnt appear to careless. Also two tables that sat down after us were presented food before us. When I paid the bill (over 150 swiss francs for 3 main courses and 7 standard drinks 2 of which were soft drinks!!) The waitress again shrugged shoulders and explained it was just her serving the now 5 tables of customers, on a Saturday night. The fly swot in the picture that not only had a squashed fly but dried fly blood was left on the bar!!!! So a plea to the Swiss tourist information board, please please have a quiet word as this restaurant would be enough to put many tourists off of visiting your beautiful country again!

The people were lovely and the place really makes you feel like you're in a typical Swiss country side restaurant (which is actually the case). I recommend the absinthe since it's their local specialty, the waiters will take their time to tell you...
