Absolutely AMAZING

Spectacular view, friendliest and most attentive staff, crowned with a top-notch culinary experience!

We got there just before their afternoon break, so by the time we had our meal the place was virtually cleared out

FOOD Every single dish we chose was spot-on!

Hot take: the tastiest crispy battered fish as yet (granted I’m no connoisseur, but the fact that everyone with me shared a similar sentiment might be telling)

We tried out the spring rolls-inhaled them all in one go

As for the Geschnetzeltes, just the right balance of rich creaminess without being overly unctuous

It seemed they poured a lot of care and effort into developing their dishes

SCENERY

Gorgeous view that overlooks the river flowing from Rheinfall nestled between the gorges

STAFF

The server who attended to our table was delightful and made us feel so welcome!! Loved the fun banter:)

He suggested we move our table to a sunroom-like area where you have a closer view of the scenery and made sure the temp was warm enough

When we asked if they had any information about nearby tourist attractions, they went to the trouble of helping us out to the best of their abilities

To top things off, they insisted we didn’t have to rush our meal because we were the last guests

Again, since we were there when the restaurant was nearly empty, we could have received better service because it was less crowded-but that said, I can’t recommend this cozy nook of a place enough!

음식 선택한 모든 메뉴가 하나같이 성공적이였어요! 스위스에서 먹는 튀긴 생선이랑 춘권이 이렇게 맛있을 줄이야ㅠㅠGeschnetzeltes는 처음 먹어봤지만 풍미도 좋고 느끼하지 않게 크리미했어요!!

경치 뷰가 정말 예쁘고 라인폭포에서 내려오는 강이 내려다보이는 곳이예요

저희 테이블 담당한 스태프 분께서 배려와 언변, 매력이 넘치는 분이셨어요! 말을 워낙에 재치있게 하셔서 식사 외에도 즐거운 시간 보낼 수 있었어요

바깥쪽 유리로 된 공간에서 뷰가 더 잘 보이는 데 사람이 없기도 해서 그쪽으로 자리를 옮기지 않겠냐고 선뜻 제안해주셨어요-추울까봐 라디에이터도 틀어주시는 센스..!

라인폭포 관련해서도 질문드렸는데 아는 내용 내에서 최대한 도와주시려고 했어요, 돌아가는 길에도 잘못 찾아갈 것 같으니까 지도 찾아봐주시더라고요ㅠㅠ

Quiet location with terrific terrace overlooking the Rhine river valley. Excellent simple but honest dishes at a family-friendly price. Many of the dishes use locally produced ingredients from the farm to which this place belongs. This includes not only vegetables, but also apple juice and even strawberry wine.
