Do NOT plan a trip to Cry d’Er thinking in enjoying the Club d’Altitude bar and restaurant. It’s the 28th of July and they still believe to be in low season. I went with my family at the self service restaurant called "l"atelier self". Sausages were cold, bolognese sauce was watery, and the goulash very lukewarm. I asked whether they could heat up the sausage, and the guy behind the counter touched it with his dirty plastic glove to check the temparture, after having used a cleaning wipe. Booked a table so we did not have to fight heavy Christmas crowds; they got us right in. Staff was very attentive. Food was good, nothing special. A bit rich for the middle of a day of skiing. Got the lamb shank with creamy polenta ($35), shredded duck with mashed potato and veggie puree ($40), and kids hamburger (~$15).
