Café des Mayens — Restaurant in Leytron

A nice restaurant to visit. The decor is basic but this is more than made up for by the two wonderful and very friendly hostesses. Mother and daughter run the place and are wonderful. The menu is simple, but there is a choice of different delicious cheese fondues. Well worth a visit. I was unable to call, (got error message) but driving by quickly resolved this.

Un restaurant sympa à visiter, la décoration est basique mais largement compensée par les deux hôtesses formidables et très sympathiques. La mère et la fille dirigent l'endroit et sont merveilleuses. Le menu est simple, mais il y a un choix de différentes délicieuses fondues au fromage. Vaut bien une visite. Je n'ai pas pu appeler (message d'erreur reçu) mais conduire rapidement a résolu ce problème.

Een leuk restaurant om te bezoeken.De inrichting is basaal maar dit wordt meer dan goed gemaakt die de twee geweldige en zeer vriendelijke gastvrouwen. Moeder en dochter runnen de zaak en zijn geweldig. De kaart is simpel maar er is keuze uit verschillende heerlijke soorten kaasfondue's. Zeker de moeite waard om te bezoeken. Het lukte mij niet om te bellen (kreeg toon van foutmelding) maar even langs rijden loste...

Gorgeous little restaurant mid way between Leyton and Ovronnaz. The food was delicious (home made fries are a must have). The service was amazing and very authentic. The landscape is obviously impressive. Get a table on the side...
