We booked las minute for a short weekend break, we found the Vieux Valais. The reception was great as soon as we arrived we were offered a glass of wine while filled in the paper work.|We had room 17 that has a great view but is overlooking the terrace so little bit noisy if the windows are open.||The room is actually a large studio, with a kitchen, table and chairs and large bed. TV with lots of international channels not just the news channels.||It was all very clean every thing you would want, breakfast is "served" in your room, in the fridge is 1l of Orange juice, milk, butter and home made jam, you have an Nespresso machine, as well as tea, in the morning you have a basket with croissants and fantastic bread left out side your door.||In the evening we had a meal in the restaurant and it was excellent nice choice of starters, and main courses as well as pizzas, you can order to take away as well.||Plenty of parking as well, the Bains, are 10m good walk up the hill, next tome I will take my car....||Can highly recommend this place to stay and eat, we...

We didn't stay here overnight, but we did come for a meal. After walking round the whole village and finding everywhere else to be closed, a local tipped us off about this place. She phoned up on our behalf, and although it was past their closing time, they agreed to stay open for us. The waiter and waitress were extremely friendly and helpful. The pizzas were great: you ticked different boxes to choose your toppings. Also, the cocktails were delicious, and came with some fizzy sweets attached to the straw, which was a really nice touch.
