Be sure to stop here if you pass by: This location is really amazing! - But for something entirely not related to a gas station or a quick bite at a stop. The outstanding thing is the view to the mountains and the blue of the river nearby. Just walk to the end of the parking space towards the bridge, there is a door we're you can get out and in (the bridge is only blocked for cars). Walk to the center of the bridge for a cool mountain view, and to the right of the bridge for an amazing river view, bring you food and have a picnic here instead of inside the station. The current is probably too strong for swimming, but you can hang your feet in a little, cold clear mountain water. Check out the pictures I posted and...

We went there on New Year's day while travelling back home. The prospect of our first lunch of 2019 being simple highway food was a bit depressing. However everything changed when we entered the restaurant.

Staff was super friendly! They even brought our food to the table (though that could have been the new year special:)). People actually seemed to like working there which is a nice change from other highway stops.

The food itself was great as well (if not a bit pricey for Belgian standards). We had the half-chicken which was well-sized (to say the least) and excellently flavoured.

We would definitely recommend...

Okay, es ist eine Raststätte. Demenrsprechend auch höhere Preise. Aber 4.90 Fr für einen Normalgrossen Kaffee ist echt der Hammer und pure Abzocke!!!! Und, besonders im Geschmack ist die Brühe auch nicht. Ich war definitiv jetzt das letztemal in dieser Raststätte, die vor ein paar Jahren eine wirklich gute Adresse zum Pause machen war. Es ist eine Schande für dieses Land, solch hohe Preise zu machen, nur wegen eines Umbaus und einer Kette die daran hängt.

Danke für die Aufrichtige Rückantwort. Die Preise sind bei Autogrill, ihrem Unternehmen, im allgemeinen Unverschämt viel zu hoch. Von der Qualität ihrer Produkte mag ich mal hinweg sehen, sonst gibt das hier kein Ende. Kann man im übrigen in anderen Bewertungen ihres Unternehmens ebenso verfolgen. Kommen Sie mir bitte nicht mit: Das sind Einzelfälle, wir überprüfen noch oder, sie wussten nichts davon. Sie sind sich ihrer Preispolitik sehr wohl Bewusst!!!!

Mein Rat an Sie um vielleicht doch mal vom hohen Ross herunter zukommen: "Weniger ist manchmal doch viel mehr". Wenn ihre Raststätten überwiegend einer leeren Bahnhofshalle ähnelt, wundert es mich nicht. Der Ausgleich zur Hoffnung kommt dann wieder in der Ferienzeit von den Ausländischen Touristen (sofern sie sich es Leisten können).

Übrigens: Leisten. Den Angebotenen Gutschein von 10.- Fr. ....schenken Sie ihn einer Familie mit Kindern und Sie haben ein grossen Schritt nach vorne gemacht zur Kundenfreundlichkeit. Mit mir als Gast müssen Sie bestimmt nicht mehr Rechnen, weil kaum irgendwann etwas dagegen umgesetzt wird, was ihre grosse Preisgestaltung betrifft.
