Alp Siez — Restaurant in Mels

We stayed here overnight before crossing the Foopass on the Via Alpina green trail. The facility is located right along the trail.||||The staff speaks no English, but is cordial and attentive.||||Two of us stayed in a very simple room: two rustic beds, a bench and a small window. The other two stayed in the massenlager (many narrow mats laid side by side like sardines in a large room). ||||The WC, sink and shower facilities were shared, and down the hall.||||Everything was clean, neat and well-kept. The style is rustic and traditionally Swiss. ||||Because the weather was wet and cold, we ate inside in a tiny dining area with four picnic tables and benches, right up next to a large window that gave us a fine view of the cheesemaking facility. Fun to watch!||||Our dinner was very good, as was our breakfast. All very traditional and simple, but portions were generous and the food was fresh and tasty.||||We enjoyed a very good rest with plenty of fresh air and quiet. We bought cheese before we left. ||||We are sure that, in dry and warm weather, it must be great fun to...

Ausflug an sich war cool. Unser abendliches Schlafgehaus hat aber die Anforderungen nicht ganz erfüllt. Standort war auch super, zu Hause gefällt es mir aber einfach am Besten :)

Wir waren eine gesellige, trinkfreudige aber auch Zahlbereite Gruppe. Eigentlich wollten wir uns lediglich noch "den Rest" geben, dies schien mir aber nicht gern gesehen.

Fast von Speiss und Trank vertrieben wurden wir... was ich schade fand, da das Personal duchaus charismatisch war.

Auch der blumige Mittersnachtssnack war nicht gerne gesehen, hatte aber auch eine leicht bittere Note. Schien mir also ein direktes Karma gehabt zu haben🤔

Jänu, schlussendlich wollten wir der Wirtin wirklich nichts böses sonder nur unsere Leber noch etwas ans Limit treiben💪🏼
