Auberge de Mies La Couronne — Restaurant in Mies

On a positive note, the hotel has a good location, and it looks nice from the outside. The rooms were relatively big and the bedsheets were clean.

First, we paid 130 CHF for a room with one big bed for 2 people and a private bathroom (having a shared bathroom would have cost us 30 CHF less). The hotel confirmed that we would have a double bed; however, when we arrived, we discovered 2 single beds on opposite sides of the room. We asked the only staff member who was the baker of the restaurant to call the owner and change the room; however, no one contacted us until we left the hotel the next day.

Now, we are going to talk about the 'private bathroom' for which we additionally paid 30 CHF - 1 m^2 would be too much to describe its size. Unfortunately, we don't have the option of adding the pictures because otherwise, it's hard to believe what we saw! The ventilation rille was fully covered with grey mould/mushrooms, so the whole bathroom smelled really bad. The whole shower construction was covered with mould as well, and the space of the shower was extremely small (my boyfriend couldn't even turn over there). There were also some lights above the sink - one of them was not working, and so we could see a lot of mould and dead insects inside of it (looks horrific). We were so disgusted that we couldn't even use any of the 'private bathroom' facilities for which we additionally paid.
