I had the pleasure of discovering auberge de Chindonne recently and already after 48h I felt like I belonged there and I did not want to leave. The young and lovely owners have this gift of making you feel straight at home the moment you get there. They've just taken over this massive challenge 2 months ago and thanks to their hard work and dedication they provide their guests with a delicious flavour of what idyllic mountain life looks like (and if that's not enough for you the surreal ribs will finish the job of convincing you with a receipe straight out of Tampa, Florida). In terms of accommodation, it's all in cosy chalet style and definitely top quartile for cleanliness. Prices, like all staff members, are on the very friendly side as well.
