Hotel Alpenblick — Restaurant in Muotathal

The only hotel in Muotathal to have rooms with en-suite facilities. We booked two rooms on the phone directly with the proprietor and confirmed twice. When we turned up on the day with a 10 yo child and two suitcases we were told that they have made a mistake and NO ROOM was available! It seemed like a large group of tourists turned up the same day and they disregarded out bookings completely! Never happened to me in my whole life - I qualify it as totally unprofessional!||They made a little attenmpt to find us an alternative accomodation 7 km away in another B&B with shared facilities at the end of a corridor... The hotel ist ok, not fany at all but very clean and very well situated. ||The breakfast is simple but tasty, and the service is nice too.||If the sun shines, there is a nice terrace. ||The rooms are small and very low (old building).
