Seerestaurant Keywest — Restaurant in Oberrieden

Never in my whole life have I written a complaint. But some mistakes cannot be undone. I did not utter a complaint, I just paid and left. I am not a tourist that complains about prices here in our beautiful city. Most of the restaurants I frequent are at least that expensive. But to serve a customer 3 filets of perche (one of them half a piec the most) on a plate for 42 CHF just shows exactly one thing: the mindset to fool people. No more, no less. Maybe theywould habe brought me more, but that was so beyond discussion, I just want to warn the rest of you. We have so many good restaurants around here. This does not belong to. I did not even mention that I ordered a different plate, also perche but different style. Beware. At last: the waiters...

Right on the lake. Beautiful location. Well appointed physical plant. Outdoor seating on the dock and adjacent to the building. Inside there are large windows that are open to the lake. Service was good. We had the Dorado and the Cuttlefish with risotto. The Dorado was good, but had a bit much oil on it for my taste. The Cuttlefish was very good. Some wines by the glass. Leider war unser Besuch nicht wirklich empfehlenswert. Wir haben zu Mittag gegessen und waren 6 Personen und im ganzen restlichen Restaurant waren gleichzeitig noch ca 4 andere Gäste. Die Bedienung wirkte extrem überfordert und in keinem Fall qualifiziert. Der Chef (so machte es den anschein) hatte es schon besser im Griff. Jedoch wurden unsere Bestellungen falsch gebracht und unprofessionell behandelt, bei 4 von 6 Menus stimmte etwas nicht. Das essen war geschmacklich gut, die Pommes waren von innen ziemlich lampig und kaum knusprig. Für den Preis den wir gezahlt haben und so wenig wie los war in diesem Restaurant muss ich ehrlich sagen war es eine einzige Katastrophe. Zwei von uns arbeiten selbst in der Gastronomie und waren extrem enttäuscht und der Meinung dass mindestens der Kaffee hätte offeriert werden müssen was auch nicht der Fall war. In unseren Augen den Preis nicht wert und auch bei der Verabschiedung war obwohl in der zwischenzeit mehr Personal anwesend war niemand anwesend im Speiseraum für die verabschiedung.
