I had dinner in this sympathetic eatery after having shot the October super-moon. I got the last available table and was rapidly served one of my favorite dishes, calf kidneys, well executed. The menu is strongly meat oriented with a few vegetarian options and the wine list features mostly local wines as it should be. The staff is sympathetic and attentive. Auberge de Puidoux is one of those places that’s worth the trip. Je ne recommande pas du tout, je ne sais pas si c’est ma personne c’est-à-dire mon visage ou autre qui ne convenait pas mais je suis venu pour manger seule. En rentrant dans le restaurant, la serveuse ne m’a pas accueilli, Un monsieur est arrivé après moi La serveuse s’est adressé directement à lui, alors qu’il était derrière moi, le monsieur à bien stipulé que j’étais arrivé avant lui, Elle a décidé de ne pas me calculer, je ne sais pour quelle raison ; Mais cela en soit n’est pas un problème. Je me suis donc installé à une table. On ne m’a pas apporté la carte pour que je puisse choisir ma boisson ou bien mon plat , je précise que le monsieur est arrivé après moi et a été servi avant moi. Il a eu le temps de manger son assiette et de boire son verre alors que moi ça faisait bien 20 minutes que j’attendais , sans même me donner une carte pour que je puisse choisir, j’étais totalement inexistante. La raison reste encore un mystère, mais je trouve ça inacceptable en 2024 d’avoir un tel comportement dans la restauration.
