Moos Pintli — Restaurant in Röthenbach im Emmental

Röthenbach is in a small village in the backwoods of the Emmental. Most people come to see the 15th century Würzbrunnen church – which is well worth a detour, but don’t stop there. Drive down the hill to the village centre and this wonderful pub/dining room full of locals. As well as Swiss classics done well – like nüsslisalat and platters of cold cuts and cheese – they also make excellent flammekueche (Alsatian flatbread). Service is friendly, wine selection good, and if you turn up on the right day you might just find the bi-annual cattle market taking place...

Good, wholesome, flavourful food. Vegetables cooked just to perfection. Sausage or steaks, they know how to make it and the gravies are so tasty! Love this restaurant! It's probably the reason we keep...

War jetzt ein paar Mal da. Normalerweise war ich immer zufrieden - solange wenig Betrieb ist. Letztes Wochenende war eine Gruppe dort (ca. 30 Personen) sowie der übrige Betrieb. Die Küche war masslos überfordert ebenso die Bedienung. Bei uns wurden Getränke sowie Nachspeisen vergessen - wenn sie denn überhaupt einmal nach 30min. gekommen sind - Speisen wurden nicht so serviert, wie bestellt etc. Das Essen ist sonst wirklich gut, nur die Bedienung lässt zu wünschen...
