Restaurant Zer Mili — Restaurant in Ried-Brig

Stopped to get a quick bite at Zer Mili on our way to Zermatt. What a huge mistake.

While rated as one of the best restaurants in Brig, Zer Mili was one of the worst restaurants on our trip.

The food was so incredibly mediocre, it’s clear you are only paying for the view. You are also not there for the atmosphere, which felt like a funeral where all the attendees are also deceased. I nearly fell asleep while waiting for a summer bowl that should have taken less than five minutes to prepare, but instead took nearly 30 minutes to come out.

It was a bizarre combination of vegetables, (poor quality) fruit, two pieces of lettuce, over-buttered rice, and dry chicken at a cost of 25CHF. I’ve had better bowls at fast food restaurants in the US.

My partner’s meal was not any better and instead of the salmon he asked for, they brought him chicken.

I regret the money and time I spent at Zer Mili, and I caution anyone who is planning to go there to go only for the view - not...

We made sure to make a reservation before arriving in Brig and had a lovely experience on a nice calm day…. And usually I don’t write auch loooong reviews, BUT that evening was too special 💙 Starting early with an aperitif we took the opportunity to enjoy this one in the open terrace to catch the last warm Sun rays. Then dinner 😃 The starters were just great, we had salads and prawns and a most surprising tasty Thai soup, wow! main course : we chose the fresh fish and bison filets , all cooked to perfection (numerous choices of sides ) and served from the bubbly friendly well trained staff…

All thumbs up guys, 100% sure to return, that’s necessary to try more from their superb wine menu (didn’t know that swiss wine could be so fantastic meeting...

I come here every year in my vacation. Untill now it was always good. This year i was really dissapointed. Especially the service was bad! We waited more than an hour for our starter and where without wine for more than 1.5 hour. Unfriendly, no attention. Directly had to pay after dessert. Food was not bad but very small portions and very high price. I come never again after...
