Le Restaurant Valrose — Restaurant in Rougemont

The restaurant experience at the Michelin starred restaurant Valrose was one of the best dinners of my life. All incredibly balanced, between oriental flavors, French and experimental cuisine. All accompanied by a unique atmosphere and the staff was extremely precise, prepared, but also friendly and informal. I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of La Table du Valrose. The chef was recently elected best new chef in Switzerland. This is a must visit. Both the staff and the cooking are of the highest standard. Surprise of the year - best experience, we went this summer and and we both have been to dozens of 2 and 3 star restaurants. From service to the presentation of the dishes, fantastic wines (a lot of Swiss treasures) and of course excellent creations… this is a hidden gem in the Lake Geneva Alps close to Gstaad.
