Hotel & Restaurant Zollhaus Sachseln — Restaurant in Sachseln

We arrived at this hotel after driving over ten hours across France to Switzerland, and were welcomed by a lovely lady, who knew us by name... She showed us to our beautiful room, and then offered us tea in her lovely fish restaurant downstairs.. My husband and I both ordered locally caught (from the lake infront of the house) fish and chips, washed down with cold beer. the view was breathtaking, and the food just as good. ||The room we were given had a balcony and beautiful views of the lake out front. It was spacious, and the bed was really comfortable. It was also really really clean. We both slept extremely well. Breakfast was excellent.. bread, cheese, meats, croissants and home made jams. Unfortunately we had to leve early, so never had the chance to stop any longer, but would have loved too. Plenty of parking for guests at...

It's a good bed and breakfast place. This a old property but well maintained!||I enjoyed our stay, the bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean. There is a lake in front of the hotel. We took some morning walks. The breakfast was average no hot food. The owner also has a restaurant below the hotel. The food is very tasty and I would suggest to go there for dinner or lunch during your stay. The location is perfect as it is close to Interlaken and Lucerne. That was our highlight during the stay. Their ice cream desserts are just outstanding, Let's talk about the value when comes to stay. The bedrooms have thin walls we can hear the other room TV noise. I also felt the price for the room is quite expensive as they are not that fancy and no hot breakfast. Anyways you are in Swiss and everything...
