We had a booking for Saturday evening all the way to Tuesday during peak season . The manager of this place gave us a 7 x10m pitch instead of a 10x 10m pitch in which we paid. We were unhappy that this pitch size was given even though we had paid for the larger one purely on the basis that it has the privacy of the greenery hedge. As we had a small toddler she was always very active and adventurous this hedges would have given us some sort of blocking to other pitches. The pitch that was given was open and our daughter was constantly walking around everywhere. This was the reason why we had paid for the larger one purely for her. There was no communication from your side to let us know you was downgrading us to a smaller pitch. Yes we requested if we was to come early if it would be possible. However no communication was made and that is why we came much later. For the manager to say well we requested for early time so that was the reason he gave us what he did was unfair as it should have been communicated and should of made us aware of this. Further the manager had lied to us on the evening of arrival when it was questioned whether this pitch was the 10 x10m as booked and he stated it was. He also stated this in the morning when questioned about the size. Our motorvan was 7.3m long and when measured up in parking it it definately was not the 10m as told it was. We paid high price for the pitch and we chose your location for a specific reason for our daughter to be able to play. You had sold our pitch to someone else without our knowledge and this is unacceptable practice. You cannot just do that. The owner of the place should have morals as to what was paid and the fairness of this. The owner says well we had requested to come early but he then punishes us for the rest of the stay by not giving us the pitch we had paid for as he had already sold it to someone else. We feel you have ruined our holiday as this was not what we paid We came to your site for a reason and the manager failed to understand this. We are not happy at all and the way he came across very aggressive. He said to us that we should leave and he will refund us. The fact that he knows everywhere is booked up he knew we had no choice but to stay put. We have taken pictures for proof. How we was treated by the owner was unnacceptable and embarrassing in front of the neighbours. This was completely unfair and no email or anything was sent from you to say you will downgrade us. Also, you they didn’t not provide us with any picnic table as requested and you gave us no electricity even after contacting you and calling to leave a voice message. We had to find a new electric point ourselves. We had no Ariel Connection and no cable connection so kids did not watch any tv. We had tv but no connection. We had no access to WiFi as no one told us. Not happy at with the service to be honest. No one bothered to give us a welcome as to where to find things or to connect. We just had the owner who was unhelpful. Be aware of how this company operates. And don’t bother to book for the large pitch as you’ll end up with a small one and book your one to...

My cousins were visiting us in their motorhome and we found the Relais de la Sarvaz for them. The spaces for the motorhome was large, well grassed over, with the hookups they needed. In October the majority of campers seemed to be retired people and families with school age children because of the holidays. The site was by no means full and my cousins spent very peaceful nights. After a month in Italy they were very impressed and would have like to have stayed longer. All the facilities were spotlessly clean. Campsite has a little shop (we used it on the Sunday morning) and is about 2 km from a new Coop supermarket. The staff at the Relais de la Sarvaz were very responsive and friendly.||||From a friend here I learnt about the restaurant which has a very good reputation locally (chef trained with Roland Pierroz in Verbier) Right now is "Brisolée" time and the place was full every night.||||All in all this seems like an excellent choice for a base here in the Valais and the Bains de Saillon (Thermal baths) are only about 10...

I rate camping places for bike travellers and backpackers - the real campers. This is a good place but very expensive especially for solo travellers. Was there on: 04.06.2022. Price for 1 person: 22 Fr., 2 person: 32 Fr. Tent area: Yes. Narrow strip of grass with trees to the west side, next to the fence. When we were there, there was enough space but may very well be full in high season. Reception closes at: 17:30. We were actually there later and went through the restaurant to the reception and there was still someone to check in. Place is accessible after reception closed: Yes. Showers: Included. Sink for hand washing clothes: Yes. Wifi: Yes. Is it quiet: Tent area is a bit secluded from the rest of the place, which is good. Place is next to a highway, but that can't be avoided here in the valley and I did not remark it in the night. Facilites: Table with bench. Griling place.

Owners very Friendly and helpful. Awesome views and a homely atmosphere. Chalets went beyond expectations on some points but missed the mark on a lot of points too - fir this reason, can't give 5 rating. Maintenance was happening while we were there so up keep seems important. Chalet we were in was dated, loud floor boards and mistly clean but could have been cleaner. Food at the resturant was yummy, lunch and dinner on different days and both time we were impressed. We would go back.

4 Sterne Camping...einfach mega!
