!!! Food poisoning !!!

I, my sister and her husband had some food there yesterday on the 02.01.2023.

Mihai, my sister’s husband had a soup (frittatensuppe). That was the only dish that he only had eaten. After 3 hours of eating that soup he started feeling nauseous, vomiting, having diarrhea and a fever.

He felt sick and vomited everything he ate afterwards untill now (03.03.2022 09:25).

So basically avoid the soups al all costs because you risk food poisoning.

Moreover the other dishes were an utter failure:

Firstly the schnitzel was so salty no one could eat it (how could one fail in cooking a schnitzel i can’t understand).

Secondly the Kaiserschmarrn were the worst we’ve ever tasted. I strongly believe that they were a couple of days old - definitely not freshly made. Also it seemed that low quality ingredients were used.

The Germknödel was the only thing that we could it, but it was still average. Most likely it was bought frozen from a supermarket and heated in the so called restaurant.

Now have in mind this is a place that advertises itself with champagne bottles at the entrance to justify it’s high prices.

Basically you expect the food to be at least above average based on the pricelist.

Obviously it wasn’t like that. I wouldn’t recommend it to nobody.

On a second thought, the only thing that place is good for is using it’s bathroom if in need since not even the beer is good there (we had some draft beer but we couldn’t drink it because it wasn’t fizzy at all).

Do yourself a favor...

The construct and the size of it is amazing in my opinion. I got a feeling of glass all around me, where I can look out. The roof is high so that the body has enough space to get a lot of people inside. The hot chocolate (ovomaltine) I drank tasted really good. I haven't eaten anything.

The prices are a hit to the face...it is expensive! Well to go skiing is already expensive but to have lunch or dinner or only something to drink, well the fun is lowered to me by looking at the prices.

The waitres and service staff worked a lot because I was there when "schneebeben" had a gazillion buses on location. So my review is based not on regular day to day work but on something extra! Please keep that in mind.

A gazillion people had fun in front of the bar and restaurant and inside. The weather was bad so the inside was stuffed. People were on the floor, stairs, ealkways, etc. Even while the space is big with that number off people I felt suffocated. I don't know if the organisation's of "schneebeben" can do something about it or the restaurant. While so many people, mostly young ones...some with a lot of alcohol in their system, were there to enjoy the apres ski party. To get a seat was difficult to get drinks or food was connected to waiting time...and some staff members weren't the happy go lucky sunshine which they're used to be...I guess.

I want to get back to enjoy the time without the party goers and do the regular...go skiing enjoy lunch or dinner in...

Großes Restaurant mit toller Aussicht aber Service und Essen sind verbesserungsbedürftig. Das Servicepersonal bedient Kreuz und Quer im Restaurant und auf der Terrasse. Bis jemand an den Tisch kommt vergeht eine Weile. Bis die bestellten Getränke am Tisch waren vergingen 15 min. Dann könnten wir auch endlich unsere gewählten Speisen an die Bedienung kommunizieren. Einen weiteren Getränkewunsch haben wir hier auch platziert. Das Essen wurde wie bestellt serviert. Das weitere bestellte Getränk war nicht dabei. Zur Hälfte unseres Essens teilte uns dann die Bedienung mit, dass der bestellte Schlumberger Rose leider nicht mehr zur Verfügung steht. Also haben wir dies streichen lassen. Nach dem Essen bestellten wir zum Nachtisch einen Palatschinken mit Marillenmarmelade (steht so in der Karte). Der Paltschinken wurde auch recht zügig mit dem dazu bestellten Espresso serviert. Allerdings war er kalt und nicht wie in der Karte aufgeführt, mit Marillenmarmelade gefüllt. Stattdessen war er in Schokoladensauce ertränkt. Auf unseren Hinweis diesbezüglich an die Bedienung, schaute diese ganz erstaunt und fragte „echt, und in der Karte steht er mit Marillenmarmelade“ - ja das steht da so. Sie wollte es an die Küche weitergeben. Das Servicepersonal sollte eigentlich wissen was auf der Karte steht! Unsere Reklamation wurde einfach so hingenommen. Unser Fazit: Nicht empfehlenswert, unmotiviertes Personal, völlig überzogene Preise für Witzportionen. Das...
