The restaurant is situated at the end of the Mot Da Ri slope and has an outside bar with plenty of seating. Inside, the restaurant is a bit small but still convenient for a quick break from skiing. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, which makes for a pleasant dining experience.

Das Alpetta ist eine sehr gediegene Berghütte. Es bietet eine grosse Auswahl an feinen Speisen und Getränken. Praktisch das ganze Personal war durch die Woche gut aufgestellt und sehr aufmerksam.

Die Hütte hätte m.E. 5 Sterne verdient, wenn da das Erlebnis von gestern Nachmittag nicht wäre:

Für einen Chai Tee und ein Panaché wollte der grosse Kellner mit Akzent CHF 18.90 einkassieren. Ich wies ihn nochmals auf die beiden konsumierten Getränke hin, worauf er die Karte öffnete und gleichzeitig vor sich hinsprach, dass er die Preise noch nicht so gut kenne. Das ist Schwachsinn, denn die Konsumation inkl. den Preisen werden ihm im mobilen Bedienungsgerätchen angezeigt. Er hatte dann noch die Frechheit, nochmals einen zu hohen Preis zu nennen, nachdem er eben in die Karte schaute. Erst als ich ihm lange und sehr enttäuscht in die Augen schaute, wurde es ihm unangenehm und er kassierte den korrekten Betrag ein.

Das Erlebnis hat uns die gute Erinnerung an das Haus getrübt. Mit seinem Verhalten verärgert er nicht nur die Gäste, sondern kreiert ein enttäuschendes Klima. Das ist auch unfair gegenüber dem Rest der sehr motivierten Crew und dem Eigner des Gastronomiebetriebes.
