This restaurant is close to the train station not more than 5 min. walk. They have an elegant interior and nice atmosphere. They can accommodate a big group. We went there for late lunch (13 pax). This is however not a budget restaurant, the food is expensive so don't be surprised if you see the price. Some of the food are good and some are not. We had marinated olive, Hummus with naan bread and garlic bread for starter, it was delicious and have nice flavor, I recommend not to skip the garlic bread. My husband had cordon bleue and I had burger. The cordon blue was good but I think the price is too much. I didnt like my burger so much because of the bread, it was a bit crunchy, but the burger patty was perfectly made, juicy and a bit reddish. Went there with a bunch of people for the easter-brunch. Well lets keep it simple.. It was amazing. You gonna love the location. Old fashioned restaurant with a taste of elegance. Bakery, sweets, fruits, beacon&egg, pancakes and alot more. All you need for s great brunch.
And there is one more big thing, checkout the price 42.-!!! Sounds pricy at first BUT, coffee tea and hot chocolate is free. That not the rule around here.. I had 3 coffees so normally i would have paid 12.- only for coffee. That makes offer even more interessting.

Zuerst zur Tischreservation: Geht super via Homepage und völlig unkompliziert. Daumen hoch.
Empfang: Sehr freundlich und sehr schönes Ambiente im ganzen Restaurant. Sogar halten sie die Richtlinien vom BAG ein wo mindenstens 1 Person die Kontakdaten angeben muss. Daumen hoch.
Essen, Tisch und Bedienung: Tische ansich einfach und schön gestaltet, jedoch zu Corona Zeiten meines Erachtens zum Teil zu wenig Abstand zum Nachbartisch. Wir hatten 2x das Tartar a discretion und 1x den Club Burger. Tartar war mega lecker eigentlich 5 Sterne, nichts auszusetzen! Burger ebenfalls sehr fein und grosse Portion, Preis / Leistung völlig OK.
Nun zum Negativen, leider: Nach der Bestellung stand das Tartar in wenigen Minuten auf dem Tisch, Jedoch das 1. Supplement dauerte nach Bestellung 17 Minuten, wo wir uns dachten "okay vielleicht gerade viel los da viele neue Gäste kamen" Das 2. Supplement war dann nach 30 Minuten warten immernoch nicht da und der Appetit leider auch nicht mehr. Kellnerin meinte sie wusste nicht ob wir es schon gekriegt hatten oder immernoch warten. Ich bestellte daraufhin auch gleich die Rechnung da wir doch schon über 2h im Restaurant waren. Der Kellnerin war es sehr unangenehm dass wir so lange warten mussten. Rechnung brachte dann ein Kellner der jedoch kein Verständniss zeigte, im Gegenteil noch sagte man müsse auch mal Geduld haben und ob wir es eilig haben. Gehört sich meiner Ansicht nach nicht, so eine Aussage nach 30' warten. Lediglich die Kellnerin die Hochdeutsch sprach entschuldigte sich höfflich.
Fazit: Schönes Restaurant, sehr feines Essen, zum Teil freundliches Personal. Preis / Leistung tip top Würde ich eigentlich sehr gerne...
