We stumbled across this lovely restaurant on an evening walk, following a day of travelling and late arrival to Interlaken. We're so pleased we did, as we were greeted by the friendliest hosts that made us feel very welcome in their cosy restaurant.

The menu had a great range of dishes, at good prices. We were served the most incredible meal that was freshly prepared and cooked to order.

My partner ordered the carbonara, and I had the prawn tagliatelle, both of which were the best pasta dishes we have ever tasted (we have eaten in a lot of italian cuisines) and we left feeling full and very satisfied! The chef came out to speak to us and asked how we found our dishes. This just added to the personal touch of the restaurant, and we could give nothing but compliments as it tasted amazing, and was accompanied by outstanding customer service!

If you’re thinking of coming here, COME! The owners are SO sweet, so friendly, helpful, accommodating. They speak so many languages, the portions are HUGE (especially considering prices are comparable to other restaurants that offer such smaller portions), the owner made every single table feel so important & even the details down to the napkins in the bathroom to clean your hands are high quality. We had a lovely evening there. The food was great but by far the biggest part of the experience was the host and hostess who were fantastic, attentive and friendly. We were a group of 8 on holiday from the UK and USA and celebrating a birthday and they went out of the way to make it special. This restaurant is a classic local spot where the atmosphere and friendliness of the patrons and staff are the biggest drawcards. We’d go back again on our next visit...
