I was a week in this hotel. It's a good location for various sports activities such as hiking, cycling, windsurfing, sailing and fishing.||However the hotel is a bit run down with no special amenity and the being so close to the main road noise is ever present.||The restaurant Murtarol is excellent and doesn't match at all with the hotel (they used to be 2 distinct companies, now both belong to the same owner):||This would all be OK if the price would be moderate, but it is not. It's way too expensive for what it offers which is only basic accomodation.||Therefore next time I will select another hotel in the region.||Note that Plaun da Lej is neither a village nor a resort but a few houses, a restaurant and the hotel.||As everywhere in Switzerland there is a bus stop next to the hotel for busses to St...

Rather a charming 'chalet style' hotel, this has been left behind in time it seems, like so many Swiss hotels. We did manage, thanks to our son's charm and skill, to get a waterfront double room, ensuite and with a TV, THE SECOND NIGHT, but owing to an accidental overbooking we were in a very small room with two sequential single beds and a washbasin on the first night. The breakfast was simple but OK, we sat outside in front of the lake. The location is magical, and there seemed to be plenty of interest in the hotel.
