The Hotel Fex is where you can find me when I am day dreaming. It is a place that is so dreamy, it is always in the back of my mind. It is safe and lovely.||The Hotel itself is a wonderful building, moved from St Moritz at the beginning of the last century. Now it sits at the back of the Fex Valley in one of the most divine places on this very planet. Having ones daily breakfast of local mountain cheeses, cured meats, fresh bread, organic jams and delicious muesli in the art nouveau dining room every morning while looking at the majestic landscape though the windows was the best way to begin the day one could ever imagine. As this is the case, one always marvels at the incredible 4 course meals the kitchen turns out ever evening in the same room. Always delicious and a treat after a day walking in the heavenly landscape. The rooms are absolutely lovely; they are a taste of the old fashioned sophistication of a proper Alpine Hotel. Sara and her staff are absolutely lovely. The property is run with the warmth of a home with skill of a great Swiss Hotel. I...

I had the ravioli which was home made and delicious (possibly a little more sauce was needed as it was a little dry) and my husband had a delicious beef broth. He also enjoyed the venison ragu which he said was divine. The manager here is so personable and engaging that you feel as though you are being welcomed into someone’s home. He gave my husband his own scarf (which we left at the hotel for him to collect) as his neck had been cold on arrival. It’s just indicative of the engagement and service level you experience here. Highly...
