Restaurant Pizzeria Mamma Mia — Restaurant in St. Niklaus

Family dinner on a cold Saturday night in November. We had just left Zermatt and the kids were hungry so we decided to stop here on the way home to our accommodation. The restaurant is located on the main road and has lots of parking available. We were unsure what to expect but I must say that the food served here is incredible. Pizza was delicious, kids chicken nuggets were tasty as were the fries. Soup was very tasty also as was the pasta. Friendly staff who always had a smile. We stopped as a family of four spontaneously, and we’re so glad we did! We ordered three pizzas and a calzone. Two of the pizzas were kids’ pizzas, and were made with real love. The calzone and the other pizza (the one without mozzarella but with spicy salami, rocket and grana padano cheese were delicious. Das Restaurant liegt an einer Hauptstraße zwischen St.Niklas und Täsch. Parkplätze stehen kostenlos zur Verfügung.

Den Service fanden wir sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig. Sehr wild durcheinander und unorganisiert. Getränke wurden sehr schnell erfragt und gebracht. Statt O-Saft wie bestellt gab es für den Kleinen dann Fanta. Als mein Mann später O-Saft bestellen wollte sagte man ihm, den gibt es nicht. Nach der Speisekarte mussten wir dann auch fragen. Ob Pommes vor Ort sind musste die Servicekraft erst beim Koch erfragen. Sie war nett aber irgendwie unorganisiert. Bedient haben uns in der Zeit 3 verschiedene Kräfte bei lediglich 4 belegten Tischen. Die Speisen kamen nach etwa 30Min Wartezeit.

Die Pizzen sind fantastisch. Super Preis-Leistung! Tolle Größe, alles frisch und lecker zubereitet. Die Pommes und Nuggets für Kinder fanden wir fad und langweilig. Die Pommes waren weich und die Nuggets geschmacklos trocken.
