This review is related to my visit in July -2022. I had a great experience at this restaurant. I had driven down from Glattbrugg. The drive to the restaurant was was very nice with breathtaking views all around. The restaurant is located at an elevation and therefore has great views. I had not reserved the seats but the helpful staff accommodated. The food was ok, but the great views and friendliness of the staff made up for any deficiency.

Absolutely love this place, a little pricey but the food is good. Atmosphere is good too, they have wonderful deserts ( not just ice cream like most resturants) I even recieved a birthday gift...which was lovely..Thank you. I would recommend you mention your birthday when Making reservations..( if its your birthday) they do a little happy birthday song for you..đŸ‘đŸŸ 😊

Super feines Essen in angenehmer AtmosphĂ€re Wir waren am Samstagabend mit einem befreundeten Paar zum Abendessen im Restaurant. Wir hatten reserviert und wurden an den weiss gedeckten Tisch gefĂŒhrt. Das gesamte Person war den ganzen Abend ĂŒber sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend sowie aufmerksam. So wurden wir z.B. gefragt, ob noch jemand etwas Reis möchte. Daraufhin wurde nochmals eine ganze Portion nachgeliefert (obschon die erste Portion "anstĂ€ndig" gross war). Wir hatten vier unterschiedliche MenĂŒs und waren alle zusammen sehr zufrieden. Von meinem Essen kann ich sagen, dass der Bucheneggsalat wiederum sehr fein war, mit dem warmen Speck und frischen BrotkrĂŒmelchen auf dem feinen Hausdressing. Auch das Poulet hat mir geschmeckt, zusammen mit der Haussauce dazu. Abgerundet mit dem feinen Zwetschensorbet mit "GĂŒgs" hat mir das Essen sehr gemundet. Passend hatten wir einen sehr feinen Wein dazu. Wir hatten eine lĂ€ngere Pause, seit wir das letzte Mal hier waren. Die nĂ€chste Pause wird sicherlich kĂŒrzer sein.

Absolutely love this place, a little pricey but the food is good. Ein schöner Ort fĂŒr das Mittagessen an einem regnerischen Tag nach einer Wanderung. Das Personal war freundlich und das Essen war von guter QualitĂ€t, obwohl ziemlich teuer. Wir waren jedoch extrem schockiert fĂŒr unser Wasser 52 Franken auf unserer Rechnung zu haben (2 Flasche Wasser ohne gas, 2 Flasche Wasser mit). Als ich dies an die Kellnerin fragte sie sagte nur "Das ist der Schweiz". Ich erklĂ€rte, dass wir hier fĂŒr 2 Jahre gelebt haben, und nie habe ich auf so hochpreisigen Wasser, aber sie zuckte nur die Achseln. Ich war sehr enttĂ€uscht mit dieser unfreundliche Antwort und leider hat es unsere Erfahrung sauer gemacht, und ich bezweifle, dass wir wiederkommen.

A beautiful spot for lunch on a rainy day after a hike. The staff were courteous and the food was good quality although rather pricey. However we were extremely shocked to have 52 francs on our bill for our water (2 carafes of still water, 2 carafes of sparkling). When I questioned this to the waitress she just said 'This is Switzerland'. I explained that we have lived here for 2 years and never have I encountered such high priced water but she just shrugged. Perfect for a break mid-walk. Dropped in here for a drink while out for a walk. Plenty of outdoor space with good views. Fortunately they had free space on my visit but best to book at busy times. Staff are friendly and unhurried so a visit might take longer than you expected. We had coffee, beer and soup - all were to a high standard. Looking forward to a...
