We were seven for dinner and had a great time, with amicable service and super food in a restaurant favored by locals. To prepare the fresh food takes time, but we were not in a hurry and enjoyed the Summer evening. The mixed salad was specially enriched with cherries, a choice of French or Italian dressing, the potato-chips were abundant and crisp, enough schnitzel for everyone, lovely garnished with cauliflower, broccoli and other vegetables and delicious chocolate cake with icecream for desert. All this for a very reasonable price (less than 50 CHF per person including a good bottle of red wine, beers, coffee and mountain water) on the terrace of the restaurant with a great view over the valley into the surrounding mountains. Manuella and her husband were absolutely lovely! We found this place accidently and it was the best accident to start the new year with! The food was delicious! All local, all fresh and all Swiss! We had our coffees and dessert (YUM!!) put on the terrace and enjoyed a stunning view of the mountains.

It was also so child friendly. As soon as we arrived our son was presented with a huge box of toys to take to the table, and there was a swing set outside.

Fantastic place. We stopped by enroute back from the chapel nearby.

Although we were late, they managed to organise lunch for 6 at short notice.
