Osteria Alter Zoll — Restaurant in Teufen (AR)

I can’t express how grateful we are for the incredible hospitality we experienced at this hotel. We arrived drenched from a heavy downpour and requested an early check-in. Despite the odd hour and no staff being physically present at the hotel, they went above and beyond to find a solution and ensure we received our keys without any hassle, and it was all free of charge!

Our situation didn’t end there—every piece of clothing we had was soaked. The hotel personnel were absolute lifesavers, taking all our wet garments and putting them into a drying machine. This kind gesture was just what we needed after such a rough start to our day.

As if that wasn’t enough, we were sitting in our room with no dry clothes when the hotel staff brought us a pan full of hot tomato soup. It was incredibly delicious, rich with herbs, and it warmed us right up. This thoughtful touch truly made our stay unforgettable.

Considering the extremely low price of our stay, we expected something really simple and maybe even a bit shabby. However, it was completely the opposite! The service and amenities were outstanding.

I am giving the restaurant 4 stars as they have a big selection of pizzas, and what I had was as good as in Naples. The service was a bit slow, but it didn't bother us so much as we were all too busy catching up. The servers were very polite and patient. They actually should get 5 stars. The deco is OK, they could do with more cushions or something to absorb the noise as the ceiling is very low. It's not the cheapest pizza restaurant...
