Story Thusis — Restaurant in Thusis

The STORY in Thusis is exactly what the region needed. A beautiful, modern and classy Hotel with spacy accommodations. The staff also consists of the owners, that are on-site and have a very in-depth knowledge of all the activities that can be done in the surrounding areas. MTB, Hiking (over passes), Skiing, Snowshoe Walking, etc. Needless to say, all Staff are extremely friendly. On the lower floor of the Hotel is also a Bicycle Store- and Maintenance area. The location is excellent. Within a 3 Min. walk, you are in the mainstreet of the town Thusis, which offers all amenities one needs. We had a last minute change of plans and had to find a place to stay overnight at the very last minute at 9pm. We found story thusis online and spoke to Graham on the phone. He was INCREDIBLY helpful and kind and so accommodating and gave clear instructions on how to get to hotel and arranged check in despite the time. We are so grateful for his thoughtfulness and help especially at the last minute. Thank you Graham

The rooms were super comfortable clean and spacious. The beds were great. Breakfast was decent and Colleen at breakfast was really helpful and efficient. Excellent rooms.

We stayed at Story Hotel in Thusis as the starting point for our Via Spluga hike, and it was the perfect beginning to our journey. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful — even before we arrived, she went out of her way to assist us in finding some gear we were missing in the village.

The hotel itself is modern, stylish, and thoughtfully designed, with everything we needed to feel comfortable and welcome. The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking — a true highlight of our stay.
