It is a fantastic family run guest house with amazing views of the Beverin. The rooms are cozy, romantic and rustic. The fact that bathrooms are not in the rooms didn't bother me at all, the ones on each floor were absolutely clean and never had to wait for them, as if they were only ours. Half-board is at a reasonable price and the dinner was delicious. The lovely owners even provided vegetarian meals. Motorbikes sleep in a garage supplied with all the tools you might need during a longer tour. The owners are also more than happy to give advice on where to ride or hike. Read moreAfter a long day of hiking over Safienberg to Splügen, we arrived with postauto in Ober-Tschappina quite late in the evening. We were all quite tired, particularly our 8-year old. She was reluctant to walking for yet another 1,5 hours, so we called the Berggasthaus Beverin.. A friendly lady picked us up after 10 minutes and brought us safely to the gasthaus, where we had a very good homemade meal and a good night's rest.
