Cookie Cafe Mossettes — Restaurant in Val-d'Illiez

Ordered a margarita pizza at €17. The pizza tasted of a chemical/ cleaning product taste which was confirmed by others at our table. We told the chef and he swapped it for another which I watched him take out of the freezer & add cheese & herbs to what looked like an €2 base Again it tasted disgusting and inedible, we could still taste a chemical.

We complained again only to be met with a rude reply and refusal to swap our order for an item of the same or similar price on the menu. The best they could do is give us a potion of fries in place of the pizza so we ended up spending €17 on a small portion of fries!!!

I can’t rate the food here because the female with blonde hair didn’t give us chance to order anything. 8 of us tried to stop here for lunch today after biking in Les Crossets. There were two customers in the entire outside deck area but she would not let us bring our bikes onto the deck so that we could keep an eye on them. She wanted us to leave them out of sight which we weren’t happy with. She never brought us a menu so we marched with our feet and went to Cafe Mano in Lindarets which was much nicer anyway. €250 NOT spent at Cookie...

Great spot to stop for lunch if skiing in Avoriaz / Morzine. We found that a lot of places on the mountains in this resort had a reasonably limited menu offering mostly just crepes. This place serves up a brilliant steak sandwich in fresh bread, or a number of really quite impressive burgers.
