Unprofessional staff behaviour - potential customers should be aware

I visited this bakery at the beginning of my bike holidays, on the way to the Stelvio pass in early July. I stopped there for a lunch break after cycling all morning and encountered extremely unprofessional treatment from a staff member. The bakery was closed for their lunch break (12-3pm) at that time of the year. I arrived around 2pm and I was sitting outside waiting for them to reopen (alongside another customer). I had leaned my bike against the wall and had taken off my shoes to get comfortable during what turned out to be nearly an hour's wait. Since there are no other bakeries nearby, I didn't have much choice.

When a staff member approached about my parked bicycle, I politely offered to move it if another customer arrived by bike and needed the space. His response was completely inappropriate. Instead of accepting this reasonable offer, he physically kicked my shoes, grabbed my bicycle without asking permission, and told me to leave the area. The other customer sitting there was extremely shocked as well and said she had never witnessed such behaviour. The interaction was unnecessarily confrontational and disrespectful and extremely rude. There were over 10 available bike parking spaces at the time, and absolutely no other bikers around. I was clearly just sitting there quietly, during their official closure time, posing no obstruction or safety concern.

What's concerning is that as the shop was about to reopen, and other cyclists arrived, I observed this same staff member handling their bicycles without permission as well. Given that some bicycles can be worth thousands of dollars, this unauthorised handling is quite problematic. Everyone was quite shocked about this. Other than that, the bakery products were decent and the other staff members were professional, but the hostile and physically aggressive approach from this particular employee significantly impacted the entire experience. I've rarely witnessed such aggressive behaviour over such a minor issue... Based on other reviews mentioning similar encounters, this appears to be an ongoing issue with this bakery rather than an isolated incident.

Cela fait plus de 30 ans que chaque fois que nous nous rendons à Müstair (environ tous les 3 mois pour un médecin) nous nous arrêtons pour acheter les gâteaux du val Müstair de Meier (noisettes et coco) et celui aux noix de L' Engadine. Nous nous les faisons envoyer par la poste quand nous passons en car et que nous ne pouvons pas nous arrêter. Jamais on nous avait traitées comme aujourd'hui. Je pense que jamais nulle part on ne s'était permis de nous traiter ainsi.

Je suis arrivée avec ma mère de 87 ans 15 minutes avant l'ouverture de l'après-midi. Comme il faisait très chaud et qu'il n'y avait personne, j'ai laissé la voiture à l'ombre à l'emplacement des vélos pour que ma mère ne souffre pas de la chaleur et je me suis assise à l'ombre sur leur terrasse en attendant qu'ils ouvrent. Je savais que nous n'en avions pas pour longtemps, je voulais juste acheter des gâteaux pour toute la famille...

Nous nous sommes faites agressées par un Monsieur qui m'a demandé de me garer au soleil et de respecter l'horaire d'ouverture et qui m'a chassée de la terrasse. Je suis restée encore 5 minutes debout cette fois, comprenant que cela lui suffisait et que je pouvais laisser ma mère dans la voiture à l'ombre. Deux vélos sont arrivés et ce Monsieur est ressorti pour me crier dessus comme si j'avais 15 ans et pour me chasser de la place également. Les vélos sont repartis aussi surpris que moi de comment il nous a traitées.

On ne traite pas les gens ainsi. C'est la basse saison et il n'y avait personne. Ils ne me reverront plus jamais. On ne traite pas les clients de cette façon. On trouve de bons gâteaux...

Kleiner Dorfbeck und -laden, den man unterstützen möchte. Aber man hat den Eindruck als Tourist, dass man stört. Dass man am Abend nach 18 Uhr in der Bäckerei kein Brot mehr kriegt weil um halb 7 wird geschlossen, kein Problem, aber wenn man auf die Frage danach behandelt wird als wär man von nem anderen Stern, naja. Also am Morgen wieder in den Laden. Bäckerin grüsst nicht, aufs falsch zurückgegebene Rückgeld hingewiesen wird korrigiert, aber doch sicher nicht entschuldigt. Und im Laden möchte man noch das Depot vom Getränk vom Vorabend zurück, auch hier aufs "guten Morgen" KEINE Reaktion und eine komplett wortlose Transaktion. Wenigstens der Hund vorm Laden hat mich dann freudig begrüsst. Ware gut, Preise oke, Umgang mit den (touristischen?) Kunden...
