🌭 First dish: Hotdog. Pretzel bun hugging juicy sausage, toppings everywhere – sauerkraut, crispy onion, mustard, microgreens. Look a bit like sausage wearing wig… but taste? WAHH, so good. Bun fluffy, sausage smoky, toppings crunchy and tangy. This one 9/10. If sausage stick out too far, just extra happiness for big mouth people.

🥕 Second dish: The carrot–lentil–veggie art project. At first Uncle Rodger think “aiya plating like modern art, so pretentious…” – but then eat it… BOOM! Flavor bomb. Creamy carrot humus, earthy lentil, pickled veg cut through, olive oil tie everything together. Taste like farmer market and fine dining have baby. 9/10 also.

🍺 Erdinger beer cold and smooth, but in Switzerland still serve German beer… why not local craft one? But okay la, still nice with wurst.

Den Wintersalat gibt es als kleine oder grosse Portion. Wir wählten die kleine Variante, die jedoch recht reichhaltig mit einem feinen Dressing zubereitet war. Ebenfalls lecker & schön angerichtet waren das Rindsfilet & das Risotto mit Kalbsragout. Aber wo hat sich bloß das Kalbsragout versteckt? Ein kleines Fleischstückchen inmitten vom Risotto, das ist schon sehr kümmerlich. Die gesamte Portion ist recht kleinlich berechnet, für mich hat es knapp gereicht. Für jemanden mit grösserem Appetit jedoch definitiv nicht! Warum bietet man dem Gast nicht auch 2 Portionengrössevarianten wie beim Salat an? Als Dessert wählten wir das Tagesangebot: Ein feines Tiramisu, luftig, gute Portionengrösse, nicht so überzuckert wie anderswo. Aber weshalb muss man dies mit Erdbeeren & Himbeeren dekorieren? Anfang März ist definitiv noch keine Saison dafür. Leckere Apfel- oder Birnenschnitze wären saisongerechter. Was wir uns ebenfalls fragten: Weshalb praktisch kein einheimisches, regionales Fleisch. Andere Restaurants legen grossen Wert auf einheimisches, regionales Fleisch, welches nicht mit Antibiotika versetzt ist! Die Servicemitarbeiterinnen waren sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Jedoch wäre es wünschenswert, wenn die Tischsets, auf denen schon gebrauchte Gabeln, Löffel und Messer gelegen haben, gereinigt würden, bevor sie für den nächsten Gast auf den Tisch gelegt werden. Aus Corona nichts gelernt? Als wir die Rechnung verlangten, konnten wir nur einen kurzen Blick aufs Pad werfen und so gar nicht kontrollieren, ob die Rechnung korrekt ist, das erscheint uns unprofessionell & ist nicht...

Extremely friendly staff in the grill restaurant upstairs, where it's quite a bit quieter than the cafeteria downstairs. I recommend the amaretto-based house specialty, it's great! Nice dishes, quite a bit better than many other resort restaurants I've seen in Switzerland.

I recommend the polenta with mountain cheese as a vegetarian option, otherwise the Raclette with tomato...

My best meal in Switzerland so far! Tried the lamb chops paired with argentinian chimichurri and its Amazing! The Baby back ribs are also amazing with their special rub and homemade sauce that has a hint of smokiness to it. Add the amazing views and attentive service from our server. This is a place that travellers and locals alike should visit.

Very nice staff. We were with a group of handicapped people and the staff could not have been more helpful and kind. Food was very good. They have a very nice outdoor seating area with great views. In a part avpart of the outdoor seating area they had set up ramps for kids to play with scooters.
