Les Gravines — Restaurant in Versoix

Nov 24 Back again on another visit to Switzerland. We had a great meal including a soup made from pumpkins grown by a neighbouring farmer - it was the day after Halloween after all. Excellent and ample salade grecque. Their chicken and beef skewers were also great. Daurade well cooked. We would return on a future visit.

Dec 23. We came here by accident - another booking fell through - but what a great accident! The food was excellent. For example home cured salmon with salad nicely presented and a balanced salad including avocado, capers, light seasoning. The risotto with mushrooms and a cream sauce also an excellent choice. Very welcoming staff and amazingly tasty pizza! We found ourselves in the area and absolutely starving on a Sunday. The wonderful staff let us have pizza even before they were officially opened for dinner. Didn’t catch the names of the guys working there, but they were excellent! Made us feel very welcomed and fed us tasty food, what else can you wish? It also happened to be our baby’s first pizza and she loved it! Authentic Italian pizza! Didn’t expect to find anything that good outside Italy! Definitely will be back!...

Acceptable, malgré l'idolâtrie autour de cet établissement dans les avis. J'avais connus la Villa Ragnelli (les Gravines), nous essayons Chez Anthony avec des enfants. L'établissement donne une bonne impression, simple et familiale. Cependant, le personnel du service s'exprimait approximativement en français et parfois se mets à parler en anglais pendant notre échange. Nous nous en accommodons grâce à leurs sourires et gentillesses. Néanmoins, il y a eu des incompréhensions sur les commandes... (mets et boissons). En outre, aucun plat ou suggestion pour les petits enfants sur la carte. On nous répondra que toute la carte est réalisable en demi-portion, sans plus d'indication. Encore une fois, nous nous adaptons et une simple portion de frites à CHF 5.- en plus d'un plat conviendra aux plus petits. PAR AILLEURS, je découvre en réalisant cet avis que sur le site internet. Il est mentionné: Menu enfant jusqu'à 12 ans, CHF 13.- (de 0 à 3 ans, gratuit)... Nos enfants auraient pu bénéficier de la parenthèse... Concernant les plats, qui sont à des prix corrects, les pizzas ont été fortement appréciées et les pâtes fraîches sont bonnes, ni plus ni moins. En résumé, nous n'avons pas passé un horrible môment, mais il ne restera pas dans mon carnet d'adresse.
