We continued our odyssé of restaurants in the harbors of Swiss lakes, today on Lake Murten, south of and in connection with Lake Neuchâtel. We opted for fish and had the choice between filets of perch, either from Lake Murten or some unknown Polish lake. We chose the former, rather expensive for a small portion, and you had to pay extra if you wanted French fries in stead of boiled potatoes. The perch was fine and the reception cordial. There are local wines from Vully to be had by the glass. Not particularly good value for money if you compare with restaurants around Lake Neuchâtel serving locally...

Ce restaurant est une belle surprise. 5/5 en ce qui me concerne. Les meilleurs filets de perche depuis bien longtemps, avec un beurre délicieux, des frites parfaites, une petite salade mêlée pour l’entrée divine, et faut-il parler du dessert? Un baba au rhum à tomber par terre! Servi avec la bouteille de rhum sur la table au cas où il en faudrait encore. Bref, ça vaut le détour. Et cafés offerts si on paie cash....
