I was here on a Sunday morning to have breakfast. I had a coffee, an almond croissant , and another coffee to go. Parked my car directly in front free of charge. Parking is limited, though. The service was very friendly. And the place has a nice feminine and cozy touch. When I was there they were about to organize a birthday party later in the day.

Lovely little café on the outskirts of Winterthur, set in a peaceful residential area. The classic, understated interior sets the tone for a cozy experience. We enjoyed a deeply chocolaty, moist cake, a well-balanced Schwarzwälder Torte, and a creamy lemon Schmand cake topped with meringue. Also a good spot for a light breakfast or casual snack.

This is absolutely a gem amongst coffee places. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the interior has lots of charm. The coffee and the snacks are very delicious and the service is very friendly and authentic.

Das Café Ziegeleistein ist für mich das absolute Highlight in Winterthur, wenn es um guten Kaffee und eine gemütliche Atmosphäre geht. Der Espresso ist erstklassig, kräftig und aromatisch, und der Cappuccino überzeugt mit einer samtigen Crema und perfekt geschäumter Milch. Es ist ein Ort, an dem die Qualität der Produkte und die Leidenschaft für Kaffee deutlich spürbar sind.
