Berggasthaus Bannalpsee — Restaurant in Wolfenschiessen

Stunning restaurant, great fresh food with some vegetarian options too. The kids get busy with the small play area and it's really peaceful. The lake just below is also tranquil. We came here via the cable car which we took after a short walk from engelberg. About the hike - On returning, we tried to hike down with the kids and it was gorgeous - we crossed a river bed and a waterfall stream. But then we couldn't ascertain the exact time in which we will reach down and decided to hike back up and took the cable...

The host was very hostile towards our whole group. Firstly, he made a mistake with having put the wrong item on the receipt and when we tried to ask him to correct it, he began shouting at us.

The service was rude and my friends and I can only resonate with some of the other negative reviews from other foreigners saying this establishment treats foreigners quite terribly.

We will certainly not be coming back to this restaurant ever and we can only strongly dissuade other potential customers from...

Since 10 years I am living in Switzerland and had travelled lot of places here. Never had such a bad experience with restaurant staffs within Switzerland. This restaurant is located just beside a wonderful lake with a breathtaking view. However, the scenic experience was completely spoiled by the rude behaviour of Berggasthaus Bannalpsee staffs. Hope after reading this review, they will try to improve their approach towards the guests to make travel experience a good memory...
