We just finished dinner here, and I must say, I've never called food heartwarming before, but the food here is somehow really heartwarming! Something about how it tastes really comforted my soul. It was delicious, interesting and healthy too. With the mist, we felt like we were dining in the clouds.
The service was incredible. It felt like we were being taken care of by kin. The boy was friendly, polite, thoughtful and mature, and the adults were the same way too. Not difficult to see where he got those traits from!
There was complimentary freshly brewed tea, a plate of dragonfruit as well, which was great!
Besides the awesome service during the meal, when we were about to begin our half hour walk back in the mist and dark, the owner got worried for us and offered us a ride back. He also told the other patrons who drove and who happened to live near us that he would drive ahead of them so they could follow him. He made sure to honk when turning too, so they knew where he was going in the thick fog.
Overall, it was a really wonderful experience there!

Although the Fog Mountain Trail is not easy to get to, the delicious food and friendly service are...

The restaurant is family run, a bit hard to find but you can park there with a car. Menu is home style focusing on seasonable ingredients and cooked by the boss’s family - we enjoyed the hospitality, their little Pomeranian, the large portions and home cooking. The views on the upper terrace are gorgeous! Afterwards we samples some of the oolong they produced which was yummy!...
