山園野菜美食館 — Restaurant in Beitou

We went there on a rainy Friday around 1pm, there wasn't any crowd. Ordering done at the entrance kitchen area. Food was very fast, chicken was quite tender. Only issue I have about this place is the kitchen is abit pushy and dishonest. There were only 6 of us females (which we emphasised to the person taking the order) we ordered 6 dishes (4 vegetables and 2 meat) and the person taking order insist we order more saying it isn't enough about at all. So we ended up ordering 12 dishes in total. The kitchen would have continued to push for more steamboat and soup dishes if we didn't stop them further. When the food came it filled up a large table of 10. It was impossible to even finish one fourth of the dishes. The price came up to about twd3500 for 6 of us. It's not about the price but the dishonesty of telling us that the food we ordered wasn't enough when it obviously would have been, that's why I'm giving a negative review here also to let others know that unless you want free sweet potato soup or meefen soup you would need to spend a minimum of twd350 per person. This restaurant has become a must-visit destination for us whenever we return to Taipei. The service is impressively fast, and every dish we tried was both delicious and fresh.
