祥哥說:如果你以為我們是"採預約制、無菜單法式料理，那這一餐我就要收你一人三千八"。 其實一人收費一千元有找。 需要事先打電話預約是因爲主廚經常不在家，要確定有人在才能去吃。 翔哥2008 年從北京回台，帶女兒環島旅遊來到池上，就留下來了。買了一間老房子自己DIY 整修中，買了一塊地種很罕見的高雄139號米。這種米產量少，一分地只產900斤。一般農夫不愛， 只想種一分地能產1200斤的台梗九號米。 今天這一餐的主角是「米」。 魯肉配白米、西班牙烤米、義大利燉飯，用的全是一種米- 高雄139號米。

餐點好吃新鮮，但因附近農作施肥蒼蠅好幾隻，店家採消極處理方式，所以雖然食材好吃但用餐環境不理想，不過很有家的感覺，店主老婆小孩全家一起出動幫忙，氛圍還不錯，中途老闆會出來聊天介紹池上米，並且在我們面前坎煮米飯，照片上除了前菜和湯是一人一份外，其餘皆為四人一份，然後有三道菜是米飯，這樣的菜色一人1280吃了個寂寞，喜歡品嚐米的味道的人很適合
