Fresh, good portion, and wonderful service! This place was so good that me and my wife came to eat twice!
My wife and I both got the more vegetable option, and we were wonderfully surprised by how fresh the ingredients were! The owners told us that they grow their own vegetables for the hotpot and indeed they tasted so fresh. Those who enjoy eating vegetables will not be disappointed.
The broth we got was their signature chili chicken, which the owner also raised on their own and cooked for many hours. The broth was amazing!
On top of that, the owners, a husband and wife, provided a great a hospitable service. They served us well and talked to us very kindly. Very warm people and we felt very welcomed. They would also give us a little extra complimentary treat. These people provide great food and great service.
If you love hotpot, please come here and give it a try! Definitely...
Read moreHad high expectations for this hotpot place from its google reviews. However, in comparison with hotpots across taiwan such as starry night hotel in Cingjing and Alishan's hotpots, this shop doesnt fare well in various aspects.

Service: When we were shown to our table, the steward was half occupied on a phone call and he was half heartedly explaining to us the menu and while we ordering half way he left abruptly and ask another steward to take over.
Atmosphere: As it is a small enclosed shop, it was quite noisy during peak dinner hours. We barely can hear each other taking...
Read moreWe did not make a reservation but the owner kindly accepted us in since it was not crowded. It is run by a very kind and warm couple, their veggies are fresh from their garden and the portion was very generous. The soup is very light and for those that like their hotpot heavily seasoned, will find that this is too bland. We were fine with it since the ingredients were more than we can finish and can do away without drinking the soup. They also served us an interesting fruit, 树葡萄 also from their garden. It was our first time trying it and it was tasty! This place was more than a restaurant, the couple truly put their heart and soul into the food and also getting to know their customers. We had a great chat with the couple and their 2 kids and left with a full tummy and...
