This is an extraordinarily tasty and delectable dining experience. First off, there is no menu so you got to trust the team of chefs to whip up a Hakka meal based on fresh local produce available for the day. We had a 9 course meal which at NT350 per head had us polishing off every single grain of rice in our bowls as it was that delicious. The braised pork had us doubling our usual rice intake and the humble tomatoes with eggs was just so superbly rendered that made it special. The selection of greens was stir fried with the right amount of heat and condiments that helped retain the glisten in the veg which more often than not gets drenched with over generous portions of sauces and oil in other restaurants. The star however has to be that humble bowl of rice , steamed to fluffy perfection and capable of standing on its own. Yes the rice was that good.
