Thoughtfully and tastefully designed cafe. Even the toilet is unique, with pebbles on the ground and painting on the floor. Rather than an overall grand theme, each part of the cafe seems individually designed, with a pleasant surprise at each turn of the corner.
Food wise, we were informed that the cafe prepares its food in line with some health guidelines, so the seasoning is less strong and we can tell them if we need more flavoring. But the food was just nice for our taste, a healthy change from our fare of street food over the last few nights. Particularly liked the chilli sauce to go with the dumplings. My only slight complaint is the chicken was abit on the tough side.

Tucked away near the southern tip of Taiwan, this secluded and cozy little café is a true hidden gem — and serves one of the best espressos I’ve had so far. From the moment you step inside, there’s an immediate sense of warmth and comfort, as if you’ve just walked into a friend’s home. The space is intimate, with seating for no more than 20 guests, adding to its charm.
The lady owner is welcoming and kind, and her cold noodles topped with vegetables and prawn tempura were both beautifully presented and deliciously satisfying — a refreshing surprise in such a remote corner of the island.
