南北合麵食館在湖口的火車站的路上。因為湖口車站後方的美食其實不多，所以南北和麵食館他就成為湖口火車站最受熱門的美食之一。 南北合麵食館的特色就是刀削麵以及炒飯，還有麵食麵點等。菜單有麵類、湯類、飯類、手工水餃類、餅類和熱炒類，價格約從70元到110元不等。現場的小菜就在冰箱裡，可以自行取用。 建議第1次去的人也可以吃麵類(刀削麵) 木須刀削炒麵(80元) 用刀削麵做的，除了木耳之外還有炒蛋和肉條 蔥油餅(30元) 外酥內層滿滿都是蔥花，也滿值得一試的唷！

吃了評論很多人推薦的木須炒麵，喜歡吃辣的記得叫號老闆加辣，更來勁兒。整體的麵是很有嚼勁的(偏硬唷！不喜歡這種口感要三思)，嚼勁中帶有麵香，不會沒味道，最怕厚的麵食之無味了，而且炒過之後更有味道，第一次這種現削的刀削麵，覺得很推薦。酸辣湯很酸，也很道地，附近不好停車，大概100公尺附近有停車場

炒飯很厲害，每一粒米飯都沒有黏在一起，鬆軟的口感就像是在市區賣的炒飯一樣或更好吃，調味也不會太重，十分推薦的料理。 旁邊也有提供醬料區和餐具區，很環保，小菜有四十元的和一百元的，很貼心的在冰箱上方擺出範例，不錯！飲料有汽水可以選，一瓶二十元很便宜，麵條是店面有名的刀削麵，口感很獨特，也很好吃，一盤就可以抵一餐，十分划算，幾乎每一道都是老闆親自包出來的或切出來的，所以多少會反應到售價上，不過餐點推...
