We were doing a tour on scooters around Taiwan with a bunch of foreigners, it was our first day and we came from Taoyuan. We arrived a little late in Hualien and were looking for a restaurant to sit down and dine after a long day of riding in the cold and rain. We were in the area and the restaurant we had planned on going to was closed so luckily this place was open and the workers were so welcoming! We ordered the first family style meal and everyone loved all the food on the menu, I really enjoyed the braised meat & pumpkin especially and at the end it came with a dessert, great way to end a fun and delicious dinner. The owner came over to talk to us and showed us the archery field in the back of the restaurant, which was super nice of him. This place has become a definite huandao destination!
