This cozy spot specializes in Taiwanese stews and soups, featuring a bright, minimalist interior with natural wood accents. The staff were welcoming and served everything promptly.

I tried the Peeled Chili Pepper Chicken Soup(剝皮辣椒蛤蜊雞湯) plus Taiwanese Thin Noodles with Camellia Oil(苦茶油麵線), Stewed Beef Shank(豆油滷牛腱), and a Formosa Oolong Tea with Mango Sorbet(芒芒青夏). The broth was deep in flavor with multiple layers, and the drink was light and refreshing. Altogether, the meal cost around 450 NTD.

小敦食堂是一家小有名氣的定食店，也被列入米其林必比登推薦。這次點了「剝皮辣椒蛤蠣雞湯（Peppers & Clam Chicken Soup）」和「紅燒牛肉湯（Braised Beef Soup）」，都是套餐形式，附白飯和小菜。

整體味道還不錯，湯頭清爽，雞肉和蛤蠣搭配起來滿協調的，但沒有特別驚艷的感覺。牛肉湯比較家常，適合不喜歡太油膩的人。不過份量對男生來說偏少，大約六七分飽，建議多點一些配菜會更滿足。

用餐環境還不錯，老宅改建很有味道，服務人員也蠻親切。只是店面不大、客人多，有時候需要排隊，建議提前訂位。整體來說是一間適合日常小聚的店，味道不錯但CP值中等。

We ordered the “Peppers & Clam Chicken Soup” and “Braised Beef Soup” sets. Both came with white rice and a small side dish. The flavors were good — mild and pleasant, with the chicken and clams working well together, though not particularly outstanding. The beef soup was more like a home-style version, clean but not rich.

The portion size might be a bit small for those with a bigger appetite — I was about 60–70% full. The place is small but warm and inviting, with a touch of Japanese-style decor from its old military housing origins. Staff were friendly.
