南萌咖啡館 Café Nanmon（3/16以後不營業） — Restaurant in Nangan

A newly met friend, coffee lover, took me twice in two days to Nanmon Cafe （南萌咖啡館) and introduced me to YìXīn (逸馨), the girl who runs it. Apparently, she's offering very good quality coffee, with a hint of Aussies' style, and home hand made cakes and sweets based on daily and or seasonal available ingredients. Personally, I have nothing to say about coffee and desserts as I had tea in both occasions, hot green the first time, and black cold with lime the second. I enjoyed them both. But I mainly want to say I think of YìXīn as a friendly, relaxed, artistic, and knowledgeable person, well informed of local culture traditions, and eager to share them, very much interested in using her life time in a meaningful way for herself first. I got interested in listening to her talking about Nangan's recent history and its inhabitants. Also, I looked with curiosity at the drawings and sketches she made and which are on show in the cafe. Besides, I found the little cosy place very welcoming, well designed and fitted into the local old sorroundings. I was also very pleased by noticing the weekly timetable of the place..but I think I have already written too much, I simply and strongly invite you to go experiencing yourself Nanmon, YìXīn, her...

Cozy coffee shop hidden down a path from a nearby temple. The owner is super sweet and bakes treats on site. There are ✌🏼...
