I’ve never been to a place quite like this—stepping into it felt like falling into Alice in Wonderland. Everything I saw and experienced felt like a fever dream in the best way possible.
🐐 Animals Everywhere! Some animals roam freely—chickens, pigs, little goats, alpacas, and llamas. They also have capybaras in a little enclosure and feeding stations too for some if you'd like to interact. However, I hope there were more staffs around to take care of the animals that are within reach of hands. The guinea pigs were hiding in fear as they are all well within reach of anyone.
🎤 Live Music & Entertainment There’s a live band on-site, with a singer gathering crowds to sing along and enjoy performances. It really adds to the dream-like, festival vibe.
🍲 Dining with a View Upstairs, there’s a restaurant that serves hot pot and other dishes. Prices are on the higher side, but considering the magical setting, it feels justified. The rooftop area also offers the best sunset view I’ve seen in Taiwan so far—absolutely breathtaking.
🎢 Hidden Tunnels & Play Areas There are slides, hidden tunnels, and quirky little spots that take you to new corners of the forest. The design is unbelievably creative—whoever built this place must be a genius with a wild imagination!
🧒 Fun for All Ages As an adult, I was a bit overwhelmed—but in a good way. Kids would absolutely love this place, and I’d definitely come back again just to see more.
🌙 Open Late! The place stays open until midnight, which is wild for a location like this. It really lets you enjoy the full whimsical atmosphere, even after dark. The animals that are roaming also wore a night collar, so you won't ram into them by mistake.
🚗 Transportation Tips If you're coming by car, be prepared for traffic at both the entrance and exit. If you don’t have a car, calling a cab is tough. We had to use a private taxi service, which cost 2–3x more than a normal fare. I highly recommend driving your own vehicle to avoid hassle and...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of visiting 星月天空夜景景觀餐廳 in Taiwan, and it proved to be a mesmerizing experience. This scenic spot is perfect to visit both during the day and at night, allowing you to immerse yourself in the captivating beauty of the surroundings and embrace Mother Nature. The breathtaking view of Taichung city from this vantage point is truly captivating.
One of the highlights of this place is the opportunity to interact with various animals. From ponies and alpacas to piglets, guinea pigs, dogs, goats, and even meckka cats, the presence of these adorable creatures adds an extra charm to the visit. It's an ideal destination for families, kids, outdoor enthusiasts, and photography enthusiasts.
While the restaurant at 星月天空夜景景觀餐廳 offers a good variety of food, it is important to note that it can be quite expensive. The admission price of TWD 250 can only be discounted by TWD 50, which may not be substantial. However, it's worth mentioning that while the food is edible, it may not reach the heights of deliciousness.
Overall, if you're looking for a place that offers a scenic retreat with ample opportunities to encounter animals, 星月天空夜景景觀餐廳 is a great choice. Just be prepared for the relatively higher prices and focus more on the enchanting atmosphere and picturesque views...
Read moreA larger variety than any alpaca petting farm/zoo/cafe, so there's something for people who might prefer to see/pet something else. We didn't try the food, so this rating is based purely on the animal experience. (Important note: not all the animals I am about to list are pet-able.) So apart from alpacas, there are: guinea pigs, mini pigs, rabbits, parrots, tortoises, goats, ferrets, a miniature horse, chickens, lambs and a few birds I couldn't identify.
Entrance is NTD100/Pax (with NTD50 redeemable spending voucher; one voucher per item purchased). Fee does not include feeding packages (those go for NTD10/box). The place only opens after 4:30pm.
Didn't try the food, so I can't comment on that.
Giving this spot a 3-star rating cuz of its location (quite out of the way; you will need to have a private car/cab to get there). The operation is quite a huge one though, and it's pretty scenic before sunset. A potentially interesting place for a...
