沁實咖啡 Whole Beans Roasters — Restaurant in New Taipei

My laptop and I visit a lot of cafes. As an author, I’m always looking for good places not only to eat and drink but to sit and write for hours. As a teacher, I believe in scoring according to various criteria. With that in mind, these are my opinions about this one.

Food: ** I had the pound cake. For the consistency and sweetness, imagine banana bread, but with tea flavor instead of banana. It was a pleasant not-too-rich snack. Drinks: * I had the brown sugar milk, because I’d already had too much caffeine today. It wasn’t bad, but nothing to write home about. Next time I’ll try one of their five different flavors of latte. Prices: ** Variety of Menu Options Available: * There are lots of drinks, but only two savory food options (both vegetable curries with rice). While the menu lists four desserts, only one of those was actually available today (plus one other dessert that wasn’t on the menu). Variety of Non-Coffee Drink Options: * English Menu? yes Wi-Fi/Charging Ports Available? Wi-fi, yes. No charging ports, but there are outlets. Pleasant Environment/Comfortable to Write In: ** The seats are a bit hard, but they do have a few movable cushions to choose from. The cafe is on the small side, so I recommend coming at off-peak times. (There was plenty of space when I came, early on Tuesday afternoon.) I enjoyed the quiet, non-distracting music. Customer Service: * Hours: 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. (closed Thursdays) What was the Restroom Like? It could have been cleaner, but it wasn’t terrible. The automatic soap dispenser didn’t work. Additional Comments: Only come here if you like animals! There are two big, friendly dogs that romp around and play in this relatively small space, and sometimes sit on the chairs. They barked at me when I came in, but as soon as they met me, they were happy to have me there and enjoyed being petted. Later, a beautiful black cat showed up (though he was shy and wouldn’t let me get close). This is an ideal cafe for animal lovers who want some canine or feline company, but probably not great for anyone else. Update: the dogs also bark (like crazy!!) at dogs or people they see passing by outside. Not so pleasant when they are right behind my chair...

隱藏在巷子的優質咖啡廳，店內有三隻狗狗～

內用空間較小，若人滿就要稍等一下 老闆人很親切，服務態度很好

而且，內裝跟菜單的設計實在很好看 單品種類也多，內用有續杯優惠～

今天點了肯亞（偏酸）的單品，覺得沖的時間恰到好處，可以喝的出來優質的豆子

還有咖哩飯，對於素食者實在是一大福音～ 因為是沒有肉的而且咖哩塊是日本的純素咖哩 裡面的紅蘿蔔、馬鈴薯燉的很爛，配合有嚼勁的飯，入口就是一種享受

老闆說，如果飯不夠可以跟他講，會讓你吃飽（？

最後那個湯匙的樣式實在太好看了，拍給大家分享

下次若偶爾路過洗車或是逛舊街，可以來這邊坐坐休息

在巷弄裡面的咖啡店，看到黑色圓形的招牌就是了！ 周遭都有停車場算很方便，巷子裡面可以停機車。 店內有親人的狗狗，但都不會吵也不會爆衝，非常適合給喜歡狗狗的朋友們。 另外有隱藏版的貓咪，要看運氣才能盼到她出場。哈。

基本上是一個讓人感覺很舒服自在的咖啡店，很像去朋友家的那種感覺，哈！ 餐點份量意外的偏多，口感也很棒！...
