台灣山豬城 — Restaurant in New Taipei

Private little farmland/zoo off the country road from Linkou to the coastal roads… went there on a Saturday close to noon time, the restaurant area were packed with a Luxgen (local car brand) gathering, and the parking lot were parked pretty much with the same Luxgen cars. Good thing there's parking lots on the outer areas.

The zoo itself was big enough to accommodate a good size crowd. There were various types of animals from boars, goats, geese, buffalos. Carrot sticks can be purchased before entering into the main area at NTD$50 for two small paper bags.

Overall, a good alternative for those living in the Linkou area and doesn't wanna take the long trip to the Taipei City Zoo.

Update, May 6th, 2022… because of the pandemic happening in Taiwan at this time, wanted to head out to places with less people, and this was the perfect choice on the weekdays… really quiet with still the animals to see, But not sales of carrots …do have fish food vending machines… best to front your own… as the ducks, swans, and goose will be surrounding you for then. There are also plenty of peacocks, bunnies, boars, goats, and even… crocodiles! Worth a visit for people in Linkou on...
